Results from the Community Clean Up
Thanks to everyone who showed up to help Clean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We were able to get rid of all the junk along our back row. Such as the mattress, table, and any other big trash that we could get to. In order to get the rest we will have to wait till our first freeze (to kill the poison oak). Then hopefully we will be able to get to the tires and other objects that were thrown out a little further!
We also picked up trash around and in the ponds. The most disturbing thing we found with the ponds is that somebody has been dumping oil in the ponds. Please keep a watch and if you see somebody dumping oil or anything in the ponds please notify our HOA!

Parking
In consideration of other residents, could we try not to park on both sides of the street? there is limited space in our community, yet parking on both sides of the street limits passageway for traffic, In the event that you are having a special occasion at your home , please try and park up on the curb or side walk , that is also for the safety of your vehicle, and please do not block driveway entrances or mailboxes.

Annual HOA Meeting
We had our Annual HOA Meeting Saturday 4/19/08! Personally I thought it went really well. During our open discussion there were a few concerns that were raised.
1. Broke down cars remaining on property.
2. Homes being broken into.
3. People hanging out on others property.
4. Possible criminal activity.
I heard some things that were very alarming to me. We need to support each other and watch out for what is going on in our neighborhood.
Please notify the appropriate people when you see things that just don't seem right to you.

TRASH IS A PROBLEM!
I had a conversation with a Realtor who was showing a home in the neighborhood that was For Sale. He informed me that he has a hard time selling homes in this neighborhood. Most people talk about how much trash is lying around. They love the homes but hate the trash!!!!!! He showed a home one day, and the person living next door was changing their oil in the drive way. Apparently that was a turn off for the person house shopping.
We need to keep in mind that if we want the empty homes in our neighborhood SOLD then we need to take care of our own property!
Lucky us the Board has decided to hire someone to pick up trash! Trash will be picked up every week after the trash truck has been through the neighborhood! This should give us the opportunity to spend more time making our yards look great. Don't forget about Curb Appeal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let's fill up our neighborhood with home owners!

3/22/08 Board Meeting
This is an update on the meeting that took place on 3/22/08. The meeting involved Board Members, James Martin, Regina Hyde and B.A. Berry
Hot Topics:
*New Play Ground for the common area. The Board catalog shopped for the Play Ground equipment. There will be a new big Play Ground in the common area this Summer.
*Part Time Security for the warm months. B.A. placed a call to someone who was interested in walking the neighborhood and provide security last year. This person is not interested in providing security. The idea was brought up to create a Walking Group. The Walking Group will meet once a week to walk the neighborhood, and meet new people.
*Benches and Trash Cans for all the Pond Areas. Coming this Summer!
*Getting our contracted company to complete the Front Entrance Project. The company has not finished the project. There should be lights shinning on the sign. The front light should work. Monthly maintenance on the foliage should also take place.
*Trash Pick Up! Let's get together and keep our community clean! If the trash man doesn't pick up your trash, then you need to make sure that it gets cleaned up! If you see something that has been sitting for some time, take the initiative and pick it up!
